KKK stands for ku klux klan, the ku klux klan are a racist group of white people that dress in white robes with pointy hats to hide their identity.

KKK first originated in 1865 and around 40 groups are still around now.At first the main objective of the white supremacy organizations was to stop black people from voting.After white governments had been established in the south the Ku Klux Klan continued to undermine the power if the blacks. Successful black businessman were attacked and any attempt to form black protection groups such as trade unions was quickly dealt with.

The first Klan existed from 1965 to the 1970s and had 550,000 members.The second Klan existed from 1915 to 1944 and had 6,000,000 members.The Klan began in 1945 and still exists and had 8,000 members.The origin of all Klan’s is the United States of America they were a white supremacy and their political position was far right.

The Ku Klux Klan were a violent group that was based in the south of America, they targeted the African Americans that were set free after the American Civil War. Their was black members of the Klan because they were made as hostages and forced to join the Klan or die. The leader of the Klan was a man named Hiram Wesley Evans whose name in the Klan was Imperial Wizard.This is a KKK ceremony.
